Bred by the University of Minnesota to withstand temperatures to -30 degrees F, Mammoth Mums are extremely hardy perennials…and they do great in warm climates too.  By the second year, they can grow to 4 feet across.  Hundreds of flowers per plant make them ideal for a hedge or mass planting garden with a tremendous WOW factor!  Mammoth Mums need no pinching, pruning or deadheading…give them room for air circulation.

This is Mammoth Dark Bronze Daisy, (Chrysanthemum morifolium), it blooms in Autumn to late Summer…needs full sun.  A wonderful place view Mammoth Mum’s is the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum…to purchase these and other beautiful mum collections, check out Faribault Growers, Inc.
