The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart. – Helen Keller

Why do we do the things we do?  Are you overwhelmed today—weighted down by countless responsibilities and buffeted by never-ending changes in your personal and professional life? Have you reached the point where you say, “why am I carring this load”?  “Is this all there is”? Maybe you need to consider some different ideas of what it’s all about…Are you living in the place where you belong? With the people you love? Doing the right work…On purpose?

Gentle Gardens has found a nitch…a place where bees, butterflies, and white squirrels come together.  They belong. They belong with the people who love them and care for them.  Caring for them means keeping water, host plants, feeders full and the soil clean…on purpose.  Gentle Gardens carries that into other people lives…pulling weeds, planting host plants, watering new plants, and loving the people who’s lives we touch…on purpose.

Consider the lilies of the field, they are in their true home…where they really belong. No matter how grown up you are…become who you really want to be when you grow up…it’s never too late. Mom kept on gardening long after the Golden Years…it was what and who she wanted to be and  do. Enrich your relationships with the people you love…and who love you back. Maybe those fine details that seemed to matter a whole bunch yesterday, don’t really matter that much after all; let them go. Experience a sense of purpose from here on in…not coasting but having a purpose of what’s happening. Let everything become clear and fresh and exciting. Do you hear your heart beat, the steady drum of your breath…listen with your heart.
