Looking for outdoor adventure? Know some kids that would like to plant in the soil (in our Master Gardener class we were reminded that “dirt” is something you sweep up from the kitchen floor…and soil is the black stuff you have in your garden).  So, if the kids want to play in the dirt…share with them how it is a living micro community…and then they will understand that is is soil.  The same that grows their tomatoes, peppers, and lettuce.

Gentle Gardens is going to do some spring seed sowing with several home school children who live in the city…we will plant some sun flowers and some tomatoes, and I’m not sure what else.  We will use the milk carton idea…be in touch and we’ll see what happens.
