Our cousins from Wilmar, MN came to see the Home and Garden Show and stopped by for a while to see us and to visit over coffee and brownies.  Sally wanted to see Gentle Gardens, as I had commented about fencing all the new shrubs and filling the fences with leaves.  She thought it looked like a little vintage farm…her folks had lots of apple trees and they had fenced them too when they were tiny seedlings.

Sally looked at my Willow House Design Studio display of decorating pieces and loved them all…she ordered several pieces for her patio and garden, plus some for her home.  One piece she was especially taken with was the metallic silvery glazed Elipse Serving Platter. She is going to use it on her dining room table with candles and decorative balls…another piece she fell in love with is the Mediterranean Sage Bowl for serving fresh greens and salads…it is finished with soft waves and a reactive glaze…they entertain in the summer time out on a beautiful deck…and it is a generous size at 15″ round.

Sally chose several pieces for the garden and under the deck on the patio.  She decided on two of the Lincoln Village Planters. They have a light bluish green finish and golden accents that highlight the embossed design. To add to the planters, she picked two Wisteria Trellis for taller sucellents.  She is going to plant smaller sucullents on the side along with stones and some fairy dust…sucellents need very little water and can’t be in direct sunlight…so, under the deck is a perfect spot for them. She ordered several sets of the Tealight Garden Stakes for around the edges of the patio…needless to say she is excited for her Willow House Design pieces to be delivered right to her home.
