Wagner’s Greenhouse on Penn Ave. in Richfield was at the Home and Garden Show, and Nola greeted Gentle Gardens. We purchase many annuals there for our clients…the quality of their bedding plants is exceptional.  They were handing out new seedlings of impatiens…Nola, owner, indicated that Wagner’s open house will be held on April 30 this year…if you want to see an awesome process, take the tour of the back room of their facility where all the seeds are planted and the humidity controlled rooms that germinate the seeds. You’ll see how they are transplanted into tiny ½” seedling-cup trays of 100 and are sent out nationwide to nursery’s.  It is quite a process…do you ever wonder how those packs of bedding plants get their start…take in this tour and you’ll be amazed!
